Ingredients
2 TB calendula-infused olive oil (buy it or make your own)
2 TB shea butter
2 TB beeswax pellets
1/2 tsp Vitamin E
2 tsp finely ground colloidal oatmeal
10 drops lavender essential oil
5 drops peppermint essential oil
5 drops tea tree essential oil
Instructions
Step 1 – Melt Base Ingredients
In a double boiler, gently melt the shea butter and beeswax pellets with the calendula-infused olive oil. Stir occasionally until fully melted and combined.
Step 2 – Add Vitamin E, Oatmeal and Essential Oils
Remove from heat and stir in the colloidal oatmeal. Once slightly cooled (but not solidified), add the lavender, peppermint, and tea tree essential oils. Mix well.
Step 3 – Pour and Cool
Pour the balm into clean tins or glass jars. Allow to cool and solidify at room temperature before sealing with lids.
How to Use
