I wanted to make myself a special treat today so I decided to make a chocolate mint lip sugar scrub. The result? Awesome…..It smells delicious and I couldn’t be happier with the results. I wanted a product that was gentle, yet effective. Something that would leave my lips both soft and hydrated. So I decided to use sugar and coffee grounds for the exfoliants, sunflower oil for softening skin and it’s anti-inflammatory properties, cocoa for it’s moisturizing abilities and it’s rich antioxidants, castor oil because it attracts and draws moisture to the skin, chocolate extract has the same moisturizing benefits as cocoa, and the peppermint essential oil is slightly cooling, refreshing and adds a wonderful minty smell.
